Korea 1987 to 1990
This will be a rather ambitious project to chronicle the three years that we lived in korea. To give insight to the country, traveling within, sights and attractions as well as some more of the mundane, everyday life, facts and figures.
The excitement that I felt upon arrival In Korea in July of 1986 is immeasurable. I had already lived in Okinawa, Japan, been to Tokyo, Taiwan, and Korea was to be a completely new experience. Other places that I had already been, I had my parents with and they were available to fall back on. This time I was alone. I was a Private First Class in the US Army and off to do my duty, as well as to have a little fun ........
